After returning from Sri Lanka, I got busy with writing the travelogues and catching up with work that I had left behind. Met up a few friends and relatives; watched a couple of Oscar nominated films - Room, Brooklyn, Steve Jobs, Spotlight and Joy are particularly good films. During the second week of Feb, I traveled to Coimbatore, to attend my Brother in laws wedding. An Indian wedding is a taxing experience. Yet again, I witnessed some Mangalorean ethnocentric emotions impact a wedding happening far away from its home land. Anyways, After that overload of family time, I was free to explore something new and refreshing. An old friend of mine is back in town so, we decided to go on a photowalk at Lalbagh this morning. I learnt some photography tricks from Shankh. We ended the two hours long walk at MTR restaurant. Chatted a little with a middle aged couple who sat across us at the restaurant. We discussed the service at MTR, food and Bangalore in general.
I tried to focus on Winter as a theme for this session but got carried away by the lovely spread of flowers and newly learnt technique to give depth of field. We do not get a proper winter winter here anyways. Here are a few impressions from today.
